DEVLOG: Development

Development, though difficult to do alone, for the most part I was able to pull through.

A majority of the first half was dedicated to making the random enemy generator, building an array/list that allowed me to go in and fish out my enemy prefabs and place them into spawn points in the battle scene. After dealing with that, it was simply expanding from there- from having an overworld, a trigger for battles to occur, to even the following enemy code that i'd used in the past from my Midnight Stroll Game.

However, most of my focus had changed once I found out that I had to make a trailer for the deadline given to us- shifting all of my focus from the system over to the art assets. I wanted to make it seem like a complete game for the trailer, and thus, I wanted to make it better for the audience to enjoy.

Though the development was a bit difficult to get through, the outcome was very well worth it!
